I always thought I had my life planned out and knew what I wanted to do. However, as the years passed, I found it increasingly difficult to fit in with each path I chose. From going to university and studying Sport Science with the intention of becoming a physiotherapist to changing careers and working as an Early Childhood Educator, nothing felt right.

 

Starting a small business was always a dream, but with years of study and a busy job, it was constantly pushed to the back of my mind. I even tried my hand at baking custom fondant cookies with my sister, but after a while, I realised that becoming a baker wasn't my calling either, so I pushed the thought of a small business aside and focused on my job as an educator.

Over the years, as I gained experience across various industries, I began to reflect on what truly brought me fulfilment. While every role came with its unique challenges, I found myself increasingly drawn to a path that aligned more closely with my passions and sense of purpose.

 

While working as an educator, I began exploring the properties of crystals, using them as a way to cope with the anxiety and stress of the workplace. It started with carrying tumbled stones in my pockets and evolved into wearing crystal necklaces that I never left the house without. I found their energy transformative and comforting. As I continued to delve into the world of crystals, I began my journey of self-discovery. I started thinking about creating handmade products infused with crystals. Crystals had become a huge part of my life over the past five years, and I thought to myself, "Why not expand on my interest and make a business out of it?"

 

By September 2023, this idea began to take shape. While still working as an educator and studying for my diploma in early childhood teaching, I was motivated to complete my studies and move on to a new chapter. However, the demands of full-time work and study made it difficult to see how I could start a business, and I almost gave up.

 

Everything changed on April 30, 2024, when I booked a session with a local psychic. I expected insights about my love life and family, but instead, she focused on my entrepreneurial aspirations. She told me I had a "Great Business Brain" and repeatedly asked about the business idea I had been thinking about. When I mentioned the crystal-infused products, she encouraged me to "Go for it. Get out of your workplace, and start that business." Her words reignited my passion.

 

From that moment, I finished my studies and began building my dream, which soon became Little Crystal Co. I spent countless hours researching the perfect scents and crystal pairings for each product, striving to create high-quality, crystal-infused items that everyone could enjoy.

Little Crystal Co. is the realisation of my dream, a journey of love, dedication, and a belief in the transformative power of crystals. Each product is a testament to my passion for crystals and my commitment to creating high-quality, meaningful items that inspire and uplift each individual who uses them.
